Machinist - Level 3

The annual base salary range for this position is <$64,000 - $80,000>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by delivering precision-machined parts that meet strict specifications, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of Honeywell’s products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machining operations and adhere to safety protocols.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in operating and programming CNC and manual machine tools in a manufacturing environment with a focus on precision machining.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials to produce parts that meet tight tolerances.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify part dimensions.
• Familiarity with machine maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques to ensure continuous operation.

WE VALUE

• Associate degree or technical certification in Machining Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a machinist in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
