- Perform complex set-ups and operate manual mill and lathe machines, using STT stock and tubing to manufacture parts to inch and metric specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Fit, align, and adjust machines or assemblies to meet required tolerances and product operating requirements.
- Operate shop equipment including air and electric drivers, ultrasonic wash equipment, and perform deburring of parts.
- Follow schedules, shop orders, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturing documentation.
- Perform 1st Article inspection.
- Performs layout and precision inspection using measuring devices, calipers, height gauges, and protractors.
- Identify deviations that could impact productivity and escalate issues appropriately.
- Work safely and efficiently while following all PPE requirements and participating in safety programs that maintain a clean and safe work environment. (PPE may include uniform shirts, safety boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc.)
- May work in a cleanroom environment all or part of the shift.
- Maintain logs and required documentation using required computer systems.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- May assist others to use the best method to achieve results in a safe and timely manner.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
A.A. degree, Vocational or Technical Training or a combination of the equivalent
Behavioral Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines
Good verbal written and communication skills
Skills:
- Ability to operate a variety of machines
- Solid understanding of mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Experience with Oracle a plus
Experience:
- 4-5 years manufacturing or related work experience
- Tube Pending experience a plus
The pay range for this position is $24.09 – $40.96 per hour, nonexempt.
