  • Lead the AP Team: Manage AP Specialists' priorities and workload; drive growth through 1:1s, feedback, performance reviews, and training/cross-training
  • Drive Performance: Track AP metrics (on-time rate, cycle time, match rate, aged backlog); use data to fix root causes and document scalable processes
  • Manage Vendors & Partners: Resolve vendor/payment disputes; partner with Supply Chain, Plant Controllers, and Receiving on PO issues and cash/payment forecasting
  • Champion AP Automation: Drive automation/AI use cases in invoice processing; partner with Systems/Data to build and adopt new capabilities

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in accounting or finance-related fields
  • 6+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting operations experience in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, including 3+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process, including PO and non-PO invoicing, 2 & 3-way matching, and payment execution
  • Proven track record of managing AP performance metrics and driving measurable improvements in payment timeliness and accuracy
  • Experience implementing AP automation, OCR, or AI-enabled invoice processing tools
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel), and invoice automation or workflow tools
  • Acute attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively, and clear communication with team members, vendors, and cross-functional partners at all levels

Nice to haves, but not required:

  • Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP), CPA, or advanced degree
  • Fast-growing start-ups and/or manufacturing industry experience – space manufacturing even better!
