Your role at Clorox:

We’re looking for a strategic, future-focused leader to join our Amazon Customer Team as the Data Architect—a role designed to transform how we use data to win in one of the most dynamic retail environments. This position will unify data sources into a cohesive ecosystem that empowers faster decisions, reduces manual work, and unlocks new growth opportunities.
You’ll architect a data strategy that enables the team to pivot quickly, anticipate trends, and act with confidence—driving volume, net sales, market share, and profitability. This individual will serve as both a strategic and technical leader responsible for unlocking value from data by driving and executing the data strategy, architecture, and advanced analytics initiatives.
This is not just a data role—it’s a strategic enabler embedded within the Amazon Customer Team. As the Data Architect, you’ll shape how we plan, execute, and grow in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

In this role, you will:

Data Strategy & Enablement

  • Design and execute a unified Amazon data strategy that simplifies complexity and scales for future growth.
  • Consolidate tools and dashboards into an integrated system with automated reporting.
  • Leads the design and deployment of scalable, intelligent solutions that power personalization, predictive modeling, and AI enablement
  • Lead cross-functional teams to embed predictive capabilities into customer-facing and internal systems, driving measurable value and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Enablement & Influence

  • Move beyond descriptive analytics to predictive modeling and scenario planning. Influencing key stakeholders through storytelling; connecting to business impact.
  • Align KPIs and data definitions across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Shopper Insights.

Capability Building

  • Develop training programs to elevate data literacy and storytelling across the organization.
  • Champion a culture of curiosity and innovation —exploring new tools, techniques, and approaches to data science and analytics.

Innovation & Foresight

  • Stay ahead of Amazon platform changes, retail media trends, and emerging analytics technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance analytics maturity and enterprise readiness.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to solve high-value problems using data, analytics, and AI.

What we look for:

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Change Leader: Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Strategic Thinker: Connects data to business outcomes and long-term strategy.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in Generative AI, Power BI, Excel. Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions. Expertise with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Insight-Driven: Skilled at turning complex data into compelling narratives.
  • Predictive Mindset: Experience with forecasting and modeling techniques.

Experience Preferred

  • 7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or eCommerce strategy (CPG preferred).
  • Familiarity with Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA) and retail media data.

Workplace type:

This role is open to talent being based throughout the United States. If candidates are located within a 50 mile radius of a Clorox Hub location, they will be in office 34x per week in accordance with the Hybrid 2.0 Policy.

We are committed to fair and equitable pay and are transparent with current and future teammates about our full salary ranges. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200

–Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200

–Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
