Job Summary

The Cloud Management Services (Practice) Manager is responsible for leading, scaling, and maturing SHI’s Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Cloud Management services practice. This role owns technical direction, delivery excellence, and people leadership across VCF Automation and Operations services using VMware by Broadcom’s Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) solutions. The Services Manager partners closely with sales, solution architects, and delivery leadership to ensure the practice delivers high impact, secure, and scalable outcomes for enterprise, corporate and commercial clients using VMware by Broadcom technologies.

This role manages and mentors Solutions Architects, Consultants and Engineers and is responsible for building, sustaining and growing SHI’s service delivery capability around VMware by Broadcom technologies

Role Description
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the VCF Cloud Management services practice, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all engagements.
  • Define and evolve the technical and delivery standards for Broadcom VCF Cloud Management services, including VCF Automation and VCF Operations (Logs and Networks) solutions.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Engineers across Cloud Foundation domains, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Own practice capability development across Broadcom VCF services, including VCF 9.x, vSAN, SDDC Manager, and vSphere 9.
  • Partner with sales and solution architecture teams to shape offerings, support presales efforts, and ensure delivery readiness for complex Broadcom VCF services engagements.
  • Monitor delivery performance, utilization, and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive overall practice health.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of reusable architectures, delivery frameworks, templates, and accelerators across the VCF services practice.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client challenges related to Broadcom VCF solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor for Broadcom VCF strategy and execution.

Skill Level Requirements
  • Expert understanding of Broadcom services engagements and delivery methodologies.

  • Expert relationship management skills with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Expert ability to oversee complex, multi-workstream delivery engagements.
  • Strong understanding of organizational operations, market positioning, competitive dynamics, and business processes to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.
  • Ability to design and implement long-term workforce and organizational initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Proven ability to direct projects through completion while ensuring effective resource utilization, successful outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Other Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering VMware by Broadcom solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing technical delivery teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional leadership team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and technical leadership within the cloud and infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions with strong data governance and security controls.
  • Strong understanding of Broadcom's vision for VMware Cloud Foundation.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building or leading a Broadcom VCF consulting practice.
  • Experience supporting commercial and corporate clients.
  • Experience with Broadcom's VMware Cloud Foundation suite of solutions.
  • Broadcom certifications in VMware-related disciplines.

The base salary for this position is $165,000 - $185,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $200,000 - $230,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
