Employ Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Manager of Communications to execute our corporate communications function across public relations, internal communications, crisis communications, analyst relations, and executive communications.
This role will be a key contributor to the communications team, working closely with the broader Marketing organization and cross-functional partners to help Employ communicate effectively during moments of growth, change, and transformation. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented and collaborative — someone who can manage media and agency relationships, develop clear messaging, support executive visibility, and keep communications efforts running smoothly across a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Execute Employ’s PR and corporate communications programs, managing day-to-day agency relationships and tracking performance against goals
- Develop and refine messaging for company announcements, product news, and key business moments
- Identify proactive media opportunities and monitor the media landscape, competitive activity, and industry conversations to surface risks and opportunities Crisis & Change Communications
- Support planning and execution of communications during sensitive or high-impact business moments, including periods of organizational change
- Help maintain and refine crisis communications frameworks, messaging, and escalation processes
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and cross-functional partners to coordinate response during reputation-sensitive situations Internal Communications
- Execute internal communications across company-wide messaging, organizational updates, and employee engagement initiatives, partnering with HR and leadership to ensure timely and aligned delivery
- Contribute to internal storytelling that builds transparency, trust, and alignment across the organization Podcast & Thought Leadership
- Manage end-to-end production of the company podcast and thought leadership content programs, overseeing timelines, publishing coordination, and brand consistency
- Identify and recruit guests including customers, partners, executives, and industry leaders; develop episode narratives, interview outlines, scripts, and prep materials; and facilitate speaker prep and stakeholder approvals
- Coordinate with creative and design teams on promotional assets and execute distribution strategies across social, PR, content, email, and executive channels Analyst Relations
- Coordinate analyst briefings, reporting initiatives, and ongoing engagement with key industry analysts in partnership with Product Marketing and leadership
- Support the articulation of Employ’s positioning and narrative within the HR technology landscape Executive Communications
- Support executive visibility initiatives including thought leadership content, bylines, and speaking opportunities
- Partner with marketing, HR, legal, and product teams to align messaging and maintain consistency across the organization Team & Operational Support
- May manage or mentor junior communications team members, providing clear direction and development feedback
- Help maintain communications planning calendars, workflows, and operational processes to keep the function running efficiently
What You Bring:
- 4–7 years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications
- Experience executing communications programs within B2B, SaaS, technology, or HR technology organizations preferred
- Hands-on experience managing PR agency relationships and external communications partners
- Demonstrated experience supporting crisis communications and executive communications initiatives
- Strong writing, messaging, and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and partnering with senior stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Experience within HR technology, SaaS, or enterprise technology industries
- Familiarity with analyst relations, brand positioning, or thought leadership programs
- Experience working through periods of organizational change, transformation, or rapid growth
