Snap Inc. is looking for a Manager, Social & Executive Communications to help expand our executive and direct communications work, with a focus on founder, C-suite, and Snap Inc. channels.

This is a hands-on role that will help translate Snap’s narrative into timely, thoughtful, platform-native communications across executive and corporate channels. The role will focus on the broader technology conversation around Snap, AR, AI, and the future of computing and communication.

We are looking for someone curious, widely read, highly online, and deeply plugged into the technology conversation. This person should be able to generate ideas, shape messages, draft and edit across formats, exercise strong judgment, and drive creative communications from concept through execution. They should have exceptional editorial instincts, love writing, and be energized by the pace of technology, social platforms, and internet culture.

This is a Los Angeles-based role that sits within Snap’s Communications organization, working closely across Communications, Marketing, Product, Global Events, select C-suite executives, and more.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner on strategy and execution across founder, C-suite, and Snap Inc. channels, helping shape ideas, messages, and platform-native communications.

  • Generate, write, edit, and publish high-quality content across executive and corporate channels, translating business priorities into communications people actually want to read, watch, and share.

  • Stay immersed in technology news, X, podcasts, industry commentary, and internet culture to identify timely opportunities, emerging narratives, and conversations Snap should help shape.

  • Support Snap Inc. channel strategy and day-to-day execution across business, product, innovation, and reputational moments.

  • Help run the team's editorial process by generating ideas, maintaining a strong content pipeline, and moving concepts quickly from discussion to publication.

  • Track performance, sentiment, and community conversation to identify new narrative opportunities and continuously improve our approach.

  • Experiment with new formats, platform features, and AI-enabled workflows to improve how Snap reaches audiences directly.

  • Bring strong communications judgment to fast-moving moments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in executive communications, social communications, technology communications, journalism, media, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience writing, editing, and publishing content for high-profile executives, founders, or corporate channels.

  • Deep understanding of X and the broader technology conversation across AI, AR, hardware, startups, creators, business, and internet culture. You participate in online discussions and have strong instincts for what captures attention, earns engagement, and shapes perception.

  • Excellent writer and communicator with range, judgment, and the ability to move between strategic ideas and practical execution.

  • Strong corporate communications judgment, including the ability to balance voice, speed, creativity, and risk.

  • Fast learner who is curious, flexible, widely read, open to new ideas, able to manage inputs from many people, and able to collaborate and move ideas forward with confidence.

  • Experience using AI tools to improve research, drafting, creative development, or communications workflows.
