What you'll do

As the Manager, Food Service & Non-Commercial you will be accountable for managing and optimizing the relationship across strategic customers and other indirect customers in this space. You would work closely with the DOT Team, Supply Chain, Distributors, and Broker to ensure strong execution of your plans. Top Customers include:  Aramark, Sodexo, Premier Healthcare, Hilton, and others. 

  • Become the key contact and subject matter expert for our national & regional Non-Commercial accounts
    • Interface with Category Development Managers and Buyers
    • Daily interaction with Sales Operations team
    • Understanding redistribution data and how to leverage it to drive sales and identify gaps
    • Adjust channel strategies and utilize available resources to close sales gaps
    • Manage and support customer trade shows
    • Work across all distributors who touch national & regional accounts
    • Provide guidance and oversight to support broker’s mission of identifying & closing opportunities
  • Support financial management and customer operations
    • Support the Sales Team in the Annual Revenue and Trade planning process
    • Weekly/Monthly/Yearly forecasting responsibility across all channels
    • Develop performance-based volume programs
    • Clearance and Management of all deductions including both EDI and Customer Trade – separating Operations and Sales costs
  • You work with broader Growth Channels team to:
    • Find and secure RFP Whitespace business
    • Find efficiencies in supply chain and products to hit MOQ’s while entering new spaces

You have...

  • 5-6 Years of Experience in Indirect Customer Selling
  • Bachelors Degree (Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or similar)
  • Negotiation & problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Teams)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time; must be located close to key customers and major airport
  • A deep passion for Mars KIND’s core values and mission

Pluses (if applicable)

  • Prior sales experience with Aramark, Sodexo, Premier Healthcare, Hilton is preferred
  • Prior broker management experience is a plus

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $95,000 to 125,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
