Job Description

The Destination Operations & Publishing Manager owns destination readiness, copy writing and editing, content publishing, offer operations, and day-to-day market execution for Visa Destinations. This role is the operational backbone that ensures every destination launches with the right benefits, content, offers, and assets—on time, on brand, and ready to perform.‑to‑day market execution for Visa Destinations.

This individual works market-by-market with XB buddies and destination teams, merchants, and internal stakeholders to operationalize the Visa Destinations acceptance footprint. The role directly supports FY26 OKRs tied to destination expansion, offer publishing velocity, ecosystem engagement, and consistent global execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Destination Readiness & Launch Execution:

  • Own end-to-end destination readiness, from intake through launch.‑to‑end destination readiness, from intake through launch.
  • Partner with each destination “buddy” and market to ensure benefits, offers, and content meet tiering, brand, and UX standards.
  • Coordinate launch readiness across content, operations, and technical handoffs.

Content, Redemption & Publishing Operations:

  • Responsible for Destination copy writing/editing and quality, Design UX, and ensuring offers are correctly structured, documented, and ready for activation.
  • Owning the publishing processes, SLAs and end-to-end publishing workflow.
  • Own optimizing redemption processes, and recourse operations.
  • Manage production calendars, refresh cycles, and prioritization across destinations.

Market & Partner Operations:

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for destination teams.
  • Drive adherence to the Visa Destinations playbook and operating standards.
  • Surface risks, gaps, and dependencies early and coordinate resolution.

Business Operations & OKR Support:

  • Document standard operating procedures (SOP), ensure compliance with PLM and Risk.
  • OKR planning, tracking, and reporting related to execution and publishing performance.
  • Contribute to leadership readouts with clear status, risks, and recommendations.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Destinations launch on time with complete, high‑quality content and offers.
  • Publishing velocity increases while quality and consistency improve.
  • Markets feel enabled, supported, and clear on expectations.
  • Visa Destinations execution scales without constant central intervention.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product/Program mgmt., Marketing, Operations, or related field.
  • Management consulting experience preferred.
  • 4–8 years of experience in operations, content management systems (CMS), web content management, or market enablement roles.
  • Strong operational rigor and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with multiple markets or partners simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 146,200.00 to 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
