The Manager, HRIS will oversee and manage the organization’s HRIS and related technologies to ensure accurate data, compliant workforce processes, and efficient HR operations. Serve as the primary functional owner and subject matter expert for HR systems, acting as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, Benefits, L&OD, and IT. Lead UKG system integrations, daily HRIS operations, and continuous improvement initiatives to support evolving business and regulatory needs.

Provide hands-on leadership to ensure HR business continuity across the employee lifecycle by troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining data integrity, streamlining workflows, and delivering reliable system performance during peak periods, audits, and transitions. Partner with HR leaders and People Analytics to deliver reports, dashboards, and insights that support workforce planning, compliance, and decision-making.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Own and optimize UKG Pro and related modules (Workforce Dimensions, Learning, Onboarding) and the broader HRIS ecosystem (ATS, benefits, performance, LMS, employee records).
  • Manage system configurations, upgrades, integrations, APIs, access controls, and security in partnership with IT.
  • Lead process improvements, automation, and implementation of new HR technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, HR policies, and data security standards.
  • Maintain HR data structures, system tables, audits, mass updates, and reporting.
  • Deliver end-user training, documentation, SOPs, and ongoing system support.
  • Support cyclical HR processes (performance reviews, compensation planning, audits, regulatory reporting).
  • Provide guidance and day-to-day direction to junior HRIS team members.

Qualifications

  • 3–4+ years of HRIS or IT experience supporting cloud-based HCM systems (UKG/ADP preferred).
  • Strong experience with system configuration, integrations, reporting, and data management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, UKG BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience with training, documentation, and change management strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or related field.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $140,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
