What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 4M+ endpoints and 7M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a strategic HRIS Manager to lead our growing team. As the system owner for Workday, this role will leverage all available features and functionality to support our rapidly expanding international company.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday across various modules. This manager will oversee the HRIS team, which includes an analyst and external consultants. The role requires a balance of hands-on, day-to-day tactical work and the ability to lead and develop the team. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, set project timelines, and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic ownership, governance and configuration of workday modules such as advanced comp, benefits, absence, time-tracking and reporting & analytics.
  • Establish and enforce system governance, change management, and release management practices.
  • Manage and optimize all essential HR policies, including leave, pay rules, and time tracking, within the system.
  • Design and deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and workflows to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain alignment between the HRIS and the organization's evolving structure, including adding new departments and managing structural changes.
  • Implement robust controls to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Directly manage and mentor one Senior HRIS Analyst, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, and supporting professional development.
  • Ensure all consulting partners adhere to internal standards, security requirements, and the long-term system strategy.
  • Manage workload, review team deliverables, and ensure timely resolution of all system requests, issues, and enhancements.
  • Create scalable processes to facilitate effective global collaboration across different time zones.
  • Oversee all aspects of system configuration, business process frameworks, security roles, integrations, and reporting.
  • Ensure the HRIS supports compliance with applicable labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal audit requirements.
  • Partner with Legal, IT, and Security teams on audits, risk assessments, and system controls.
  • Translate business needs into effective system solutions and process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training, guidance, and change management support for system users.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 6+ years of hands-on, in-depth Workday experience.
  • Proven success operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize HR processes by effectively leveraging technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in creating and utilizing Workday reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in complex or challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience using HR technology to support and drive organizational scaling.

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
  • 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
  • Life and Disability insurance plans
  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
  • Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
  • $75 USD/month digital reimbursement
  • Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth
