Join ShopMy – Powering the Future of Digital Marketing

ShopMy is revolutionizing the future of e-commerce by building the infrastructure for human-led curation at scale.

ShopMy enables brands to launch and scale high-impact, performance-driven creator programs, while empowering the most influential creators to monetize their influence and partner directly with the brands they love. Through this operating system, ShopMy powers consumers to discover and buy the world's best products through premium brands, culture-driving tastemakers, and authentic human curation.

ShopMy recently became a unicorn, raising at a $1.5B valuation with backing from Bessemer Venture Partners, Avenir Growth Capital, and Bain Capital Ventures. If you’re excited to help shape the future of curated commerce at the intersection of technology, culture, and taste, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, data-driven Manager, Lifecycle & Retention to own and build ShopMy's shopper lifecycle program from the ground up. This role is focused on driving activation, engagement, and long-term retention for ShopMy's growing shopper audience — working closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and our VP of Loyalty to build the retention engine that turns first-time buyers into loyal, high-value customers.

You'll own the full lifecycle function end-to-end: strategy, execution, segmentation, testing, and optimization. With 300,000+ shoppers and a loyalty program launching in April 2026, the opportunity to make a measurable impact from day one is real. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on lifecycle marketer who's excited to build something from scratch at a fast-growing creator commerce company.

Your Impact
  • Own shopper lifecycle and retention strategy end-to-end — from onboarding and activation through win-back, loyalty, and reactivation
  • Build automated flows from scratch: browse/cart abandonment, post-purchase, repeat purchase, VIP, and more across email, push, and in-app channels
  • Partner with the product team on lifecycle communications for the shopper loyalty program — designing tier-based messaging across all four card tiers
  • Identify and build segments within our shopper database: high-AOV buyers, creator-referred shoppers, discount-seekers, lapsed users, and more
  • Establish a rigorous A/B testing framework — define KPIs and report on performance regularly using Amplitude and Looker
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and the Growth team to build custom event triggers and data-driven journeys
  • Coordinate brand placement emails and weekly new collection campaigns alongside the broader marketing team
You Are Energized By
  • Owning a function fully — strategy through execution — with the autonomy to build it your way
  • Digging into lifecycle data to uncover segment-level insights and act on them quickly
  • Building, testing, and iterating in a fast-paced, test-and-learn culture
  • The creator economy and what drives discovery-based shopping behavior
  • A startup environment where speed, curiosity, and scrappiness are valued
What We're Looking For
  • 5–7 years of hands-on lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing experience, ideally in D2C, e-commerce, or a consumer marketplace
  • Proven experience building automated lifecycle flows end-to-end — not just managing them
  • Loyalty program experience: has launched, revamped, or significantly grown a loyalty or VIP program
  • Klaviyo proficiency strongly preferred; experience with Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud considered
  • Rigorous, data-driven mindset — tests everything and builds frameworks, not one-off experiments
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving quickly with limited guidance
  • Strong cross-functional communicator — can translate marketing needs into technical requirements for engineering
Bonus Points
  • Experience in beauty, fashion, or creator-adjacent D2C
  • In-app or push notification channel ownership
  • Familiarity with Amplitude, Looker, or Snowflake
  • Prior loyalty program or co-branded card experience

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
