The Role: Manager, NRC Pricing & Cost Management

As Manager, NRC Pricing & Cost Management, you will own the development, governance, and visibility of non-recurring cost (NRC) estimates across customer solutions. This role exists to ensure customer-specific scope is clearly defined, accurately priced, and consistently tracked through execution.

You will work across Solutions Engineering, Construction, Cost Controls, Design, Sales, and Finance to align assumptions, manage changes, and maintain clarity around NRC scope and exposure. Your work directly impacts deal accuracy, project cost control, and customer transparency.

This position may require the candidate/employee to undergo additional background checks and drug screenings prior to and during employment in support of customer-specific deployments.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop ROM, budgetary, and detailed NRC estimates for customer-specific scope

  • Translate technical requirements into clear cost assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and estimate narratives

  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to support pricing strategy and customer discussions

  • Define and maintain clarity on what qualifies as NRC versus base or recurring scope

  • Track NRC exposure across active projects, including approved, pending, and at-risk scope

  • Support change evaluation and documentation as customer requirements evolve

  • Align with Cost Controls on estimate structure, cost tracking, and reporting

  • Coordinate with Construction, Design, Procurement, and delivery teams to validate scope, quantities, and costs

  • Maintain templates, trackers, and standards for consistent NRC pricing and tracking

  • Provide leadership reporting on estimate accuracy, risks, and trends

  • Educate internal teams on NRC definitions, policies, and best practices

  • Drive process improvements across estimating workflows and cross-functional handoffs

What We’re Looking For
  • You bring structure and clarity to complex, evolving scope

  • You translate technical inputs into accurate cost models

  • You communicate clearly across commercial, technical, and delivery teams

  • You identify risks early and manage them proactively

  • You maintain strong attention to detail and documentation discipline

  • You prioritize effectively across multiple projects and timelines

  • You exercise sound judgment in distinguishing scope and cost responsibility

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in estimating, project controls, cost engineering, or related roles

  • Experience working with customer-specific scope, capital cost estimates, or change management

  • Strong understanding of cost modeling, budgeting, and project cost tracking

  • Experience collaborating across engineering, construction, and commercial teams

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience supporting preconstruction or capital planning activities

  • Background in MEP construction and estimating

Preferred:

  • Experience in data center, mission-critical, or infrastructure environments

  • Experience with project accounting or financial coordination
