Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Product Management Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Product Management in the Digital Product Management organization. This role is responsible for driving the product vision and delivery of initiatives for our [Health & Benefits / Retirement & Wealth business] line with their agile squad focused on the client experience. The squad will be empowered and accountable to build new products, features and enhancements to the existing product line while increasing business operational efficiency and retiring legacy systems while aligning tactical decisions with strategic architectural principles. The ideal incumbent will be strategic, innovative, and creative with a solid analytic foundation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The typical schedule for this position is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, with 15% quarterly nationwide travel.

- Creates compelling product experiences for customers and clients
- Helps drive strategy - conduct product and competitive research to help shape long and short-term strategy while providing quick and clear value add to the business
- Develops and executes product roadmaps with a focus on measurable outcomes
- Tracks and regularly shares progress with stakeholders and the team
- Defines KPIs while monitoring and reporting on business and client metrics for the product
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, various business lines and Technology to elicit, analyze and understand needs, constraints, risks and alignment with organizational strategy and priorities
- Works in partnership with the team and stakeholders to employ Agile methods, processes, tools and metrics to deliver value including ongoing product backlog refinement, product roadmaps and release planning
- Engages and collaborates with the team to create and manage Agile artifacts (e.g. Product Roadmap, Dashboard Metrics, Product Requirements and Acceptance Criteria), Backlog, Go-to-Market (GTM) Release Plan, Lessons Learned) and information needed for prioritization and decision-making
- Develops and maintains product dashboard, metrics and monthly reports using OKRs and KPIs
- Regularly assesses sales and market opportunities against features, costs and existing priorities to determine if and when to proceed with a product
- Assist the Sales Team with completing competitive product Request for Proposals (RFP) as needed
- Be the ultimate subject matter expert on assigned products for internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the team.
- Meets regularly with staff and provides constant feedback to power professional growth and learning
- Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews. Identify areas for development and create plans to enhance team members' skills.
- Uniformly identify high performers who consistently produce quality work.
- Has a good understanding of their team's strengths and opportunities, capitalizing on their strengths and coaching opportunities.
- Remove barriers for the team, ensuring team members have all the tools, resources, and context to execute.
- Address challenges and conflicts that arise within the team or projects. Make decisions that balance various factors and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to a team of employees. Set clear expectations, delegate tasks, and ensure effective communication within the team.

Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience if product management experience; 5+ years of Agile, SDLA experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience leading a team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred
- Certified Product Manager credentials preferred
- User-Centric / Design Thinking experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Background in Financial Services and Fintech strongly preferred
- Understanding of modern platform and technology solutions
- Strategic, innovative, and creative thinker with a solid analytic foundation
- Represent the company at conferences and customer meetings, showcasing Inspira's thought leadership in the market
- Ability to be assertive with business priorities and address opposing viewpoints while adhering to Agile concepts and principles
- Working knowledge of Agile practices such as iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burn down metrics, velocity and task definition
- Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills to connect and engage with the team, facilitate discussions, advocate for the team, negotiate with the business, mentor team members, and resolve conflicts
- Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal direction, and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules
- Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously and manage stressful situations
- Strong knowledge of technical concepts and architectural principles to drive scalable solutions
