We are seeking an individual with a strong combination of analytics consulting skills and a strong background in data science. If you are passionate about working on unstructured business problems that can be solved using data, we would like to talk to you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on the latest applications of data science to solve business problems
  • Participate in discussions with team members to select and apply relevant analytic techniques and create actionable business insights
  • Ability to understand the business context by discussing existing data models with senior client leaders and deriving useful business insights
  • Ability to break down a project into specific tasks involving business analysis, data science and engineering
  • Direct teams of business analysts to create data-driven solutions
  • Architect data analytics frameworks and solutions to solve data-driven business problems
  • Use Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Operational Research techniques to develop data models
  • Extract, transform and organize the data into datasets using tools like SQL
  • Validate the model solutions' results by developing testing frameworks using Hadoop, Python, and other relevant tools.
  • Report the results and insights using business intelligence tools.
  • Responsible for making presentations to senior management, communicating results to business teams, and developing plans to help operationalize analytic solutions.
  • Being able to communicate with and manage expectations across stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver a presentation.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of Data Science experience with at least 5 years in analytics consulting.
  • Experience working with large data sets is preferable (with an emphasis on business analysis problems).
  • Work experience in areas such as Supply chain planning and operations, preferably from the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience of working with offshore teams.
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skill set to work with analytics toolkits such as:
    • R, Python, SQL, Git, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx
    • Spark, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Ability to engage with executive/VP-level stakeholders from the client’s team to translate business problems into a high-level analytics solution approach.
  • Strong project management and team management skills, and the ability to work with global teams.
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
  • Will have to travel to the office 5 days a week.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus.
