This role is a key finance partner supporting Anyscale’s mission to make AI development and deployment scalable and accessible through Ray. As part of a lean, high-impact finance team, you’ll provide the analytical foundation that drives strategic decisions across R&D, GTM, and operations. You’ll help shape how Anyscale invests in growth, manages cloud and compute economics, and scales efficiently as the business expands its AI platform footprint.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning cycles across the business, driving accountability and insight
Partner with functional leadership to develop and share monthly and quarterly spend forecasts, BVA, and reporting, with actionable insights
Develop cloud hosting models to help drive cloud/compute efficiency (e.g., GPU utilization, infrastructure COGS) and improvements in gross margin
Build and maintain usage-based revenue models, including ARR, NRR, and retention analytics
Support Board and investor materials, highlighting key financial and operational trends
Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, GTM Ops, Data, and Product to improve financial visibility and automate reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
7+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally in SaaS, cloud, or AI infrastructure
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills
Experience with planning and BI tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, Looker, Snowflake, Tableau)
Familiarity with usage-based revenue and cloud cost structures
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and communicate effectively with technical and GTM leaders
