About the Role:

As a Manager of Systems Test Engineering at Mytra, you will be responsible for leading a team of systems test engineers in developing and executing systems validation and verification. This is a key technical leadership role responsible for driving innovation in validation methodologies for the Mytra robotic system, and mentoring a highly skilled test engineering team. You will work in collaboration with Product Design Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Software and Controls Engineering to ensure that Mytra's products can withstand the demands of real-world warehouse environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish group and individual objectives, priorities, and metrics to ensure long-term success
  • Manage and allocate team resources across multiple projects
  • Provide technical leadership for the development of production equipment, test fixtures, and process tools
  • Manage requirements traceability to ensure equipment meets defined specifications
  • Collaborate with design engineers, system engineers, manufacturing engineers, and software/controls engineers to ensure that equipment meets requirements

Qualifications:

  • BS or graduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering, or similar field. MS preferred.
  • Successful experience leading teams developing test and process equipment
  • Extensive engineering experience with complex electro-mechanical equipment
  • Prior responsibility for validation of processes, equipment, and products
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally across a range of technical disciplines with a broad range of stakeholders, including management, peers, customers, and suppliers
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to relate to different people in cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Python or C++ for analyzing datasets related to specification definition, risk assessment, and reliability analysis, as well as for writing scripts to execute commands on electro-mechanical systems

A Final Note:

You’re encouraged to apply even if you can’t take on every example project in its totality. We work closely and collaboratively at Mytra - No one takes on projects alone. We seek people who are eager to work together, learn new things, and bring unique perspectives.

Benefits Include:

  • Competitive compensation and equity grants at a high-growth company backed by top-tier VCs
  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) plans and employer-subsidized life insurance

  • Fully subsidized tax advisory services and education to help you understand your equity
  • Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
  • Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
  • Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters
