Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

We are seeking a Manager, Workplace and Experience to lead our team in creating a thoughtful, engaging, and high-functioning workplace environment. This role combines strategic facilities management, office operations, and employee experience leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring our physical workspaces are efficient, welcoming, and aligned with our company culture and business goals. The ideal candidate brings a blend of operational rigor, hospitality mindset, and people leadership.

This is a full time in-person role that will be based in our San Francisco hub.

What you’ll do at Figma:
  • You’ll be the go-to person who keeps the office buzzing. Whether it's working closely with office stakeholders, the People Team, IT, or Finance, you’ll be the one bringing people together to support the big picture and day-to-day needs.
  • You’ll design and run workplace programs that make people excited to come in—think events, cool perks, welcoming onboarding, and everything that makes the office feel like a place where people want to connect and thrive.
  • You’ll help set the tone and lead the way for workplace strategy at our SF HQ. Your role will be all about creating a space that’s scalable, sustainable, and, most importantly, a place where employees feel happy and engaged.
  • You’ll lead a team of workplace pros, coaching them to be their best and helping them grow. A strong, supportive team will be your legacy.
  • From overseeing daily office operations to managing vendors, space planning, and making sure everything is running smoothly (security, health & safety, business continuity)—you’ll keep the wheels turning and ensure our office environment is top-notch.
  • You’ll manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and work with vendors to make sure we get the best bang for our buck without sacrificing quality or service.
  • You understand that the devil is in the details—and that’s exactly where the magic happens. Whether it's ensuring processes are followed to the letter, making sure nothing falls through the cracks, or catching those small details that make a big impact, you’re always on top of it to deliver seamless experiences.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 7+ years of experience as a workplace manager or engagement manager or in a similar type role
  • 2+ years of experience in management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that includes a variety of different stakeholders at different levels
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
  • Experience with tools like Asana, Envoy and Figma
  • Fluent in different languages (preferably Portuguese or Spanish)
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
