Managing Attorney Foreclosure - Massachusetts
Our law firm seeks a Managing Attorney for its high-volume foreclosure practice. This position requires client contact and a high-volume workload. License to practice law in Massachusetts required.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the firm’s foreclosure and litigation departments.
- Work with and assist in supervision of paralegals and support staff. Maintain the highest quality of work-product while helping clients achieve their goals and ensure firm policies and procedures are being followed.
- Monitor progress and develop strategies to effectively bring files to resolution.
- Develop and grow client relations.
Experience:
- Detailed knowledge of law and extensive experience related to creditors’ rights legal representation (real estate, foreclosure, litigation)
- Working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application to foreclosure matters
- Knowledge of Federal and State consumer protection statutes
- Massachusetts barred for 8+ years
- 8+ years’ experience in Creditors’ Rights
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exercise a high-degree of professionalism
- Creative problem solving; client development; leadership and motivational skills
- Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written and electronic correspondence
Required Education and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Membership in the Massachusetts Bar
