About the Role:

The Managing Counsel, Corporate and International will report to the VP, Legal, Corporate and International and be primarily responsible for supporting the establishment and growth of Hims & Hers’ international business. You will act as a key legal advisor to senior leaders leading international launch efforts in regions around the world to ensure the company’s global operations align with the company’s overall growth strategies, initiatives, and risk management framework. You will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders across the company to support legally sound and scalable new market launches, coordinate with external counsel on country-specific issues, and collaborate closely with subject matter experts within the legal team to facilitate seamless, consistent, and efficient legal support.

You Will:
  • Advise on a broad range of legal issues relating to the company’s international business, in coordination with external and internal subject matter experts

  • Act as the main point of contact on the legal team for legal issues relating to the international business and coordinate with external and internal counsel as appropriate

  • Oversee the legal structuring, entity formation and maintenance, and corporate governance for international markets

  • Coordinate with external counsel and internal legal team members to ensure applicable legal requirements are met for launching products and services in new jurisdictions, including compliance, healthcare and pharmacy, data privacy, advertising, and consumer protection

  • Support international employment matters in partnership with human resources and the internal employment counsel team

  • Support commercial contracting with international partners, vendors, and distributors in collaboration with the internal commercial counsel team

  • Coordinate with external counsel and internal legal team members to support any international M&A efforts

  • Provide practical, actionable, solution-oriented legal advice to enable efficient and effective decision-making

  • Cultivate a keen understanding of the company’s global business model, technologies, and goals to inform legal guidance, strategy, and initiatives

You Have:
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction

  • 8+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and/or in-house in corporate law

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in different regions worldwide including finance, tax, human resources, engineering, operations, product, and marketing

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent business judgment, and creative mindset

Nice to Have:
  • Experience leading a team of attorneys and legal professionals

  • Experience in cross-border M&A and/or other transactions

  • Experience working in an in-house corporate department at a multinational technology or high-growth company

  • Background in tech, consumer goods, health tech, pharmaceutical, or digital product industries
