Based in San Francisco, CA, the Managing Director is primarily responsible for new business generation in Northern California; responsibilities will also include, selling the REMS service line to both internal and external clients. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the Regional Managing Director, California, who leads the Property Management Operations, improving collaboration and alignment with Brokerage partners. The Managing Director plays a critical role in driving new business development, delivering consistent service excellence, strengthening client relationships, and improving operational performance.

In this role, your responsibility will include…

  • Develops and implements new business development strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of business unit goals and objectives

  • Ability to price business in accordance with Colliers guidelines, which may adjust annually.

  • Developing and implementing new business strategies.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • Sell REMS platform within assigned Market to internal counterparts and external clients.

  • Understand the REMS platform and be able to transition new accounts.

  • Other duties, special projects, reports as assigned by President and other leaders of the Real Estate Management Services organization.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate or property management, with extensive Business Development experience.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.

  • Strong business development.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel required up to 10%. Travel is primarily local and during the business day.

Pay Range

Pursuant to local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information:

Area/Location Specific: San Francisco, CA

Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $200,994 to $225,000

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
