Job DescriptionQ Analysts is looking for Bug Triager to join one of our clients headquartered in Mountain View, California. The Bug Triager to support our product quality initiatives for new hardware and software launches. Daily responsibilities will include bug triage, log analysis, debugging, manual testing, and end-to-end ownership of quality losses. Key responsibilities include multilingual analysis and reporting top issues in addition to hands on triaging.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the triage PoC, must be fluent in English
- Evaluate issues, understand the user's intent and the contributing factors of the issue
- Triage and analyse logs and bugs for tracking and reporting
- Identify and escalate risks and trends for Assistant features
- Become a subject matter expert for specific Assistant products and features
- Update and create new documentation as needed
- Provide ongoing trainings for knowledge sharing and upcoming features
Required Qualifications: (language skills, analytical/tech savvy, creative/focus on quality)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills in English and at least one other language a plus- you are the voice of the team
- Able to navigate through technical tools and error logs
- Experienced with navigating/editing scripts and basic code base
- Tech savvy, understands/uses technology and is a fast and accurate typer; experienced using smartphones and apps, Google search, and other Google products
- Mindset around quality and exploratory testing (“What would happen if I clicked here?”)
- Able to thrive in an ever-changing environment
- Proactive, agile, and able to multi-task and reprioritize
- Analytical/problem solver, comfortable with making educated guesses and working with ambiguity
- Detail oriented and able to follow complicated instructions, while analyzing the situation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in testing software and/or hardware
- Professional or personal experience with technology, preferably in Engineering or QA world
- Effective at troubleshooting, has curiosity and likes to dive deep to explore troubleshooting
- Experience working with a certain amount of chaos and ambiguity
Experienced in writing documentation for wide audiences of various technical levels
Experience working with bugs
