Overview:

At Inertia, we plan to build fusion fuel targets to initiate the world’s first fusion power plant. We need talented engineers to take on the challenge of scaling up the target production from laboratory scale to volume production.

This role will be critical to take development from fusion fuel target research and establish viable volume production equipment, material, and process.

The role will report to the VP of Industrial Engineering.

What you get to do:
  1. Develop baseline assembly process and automation requirements

  2. Develop proof-of-concept mass production equipments

  3. Establish manufacturing best practices

  4. Yield analysis and failure analysis

What you bring:
  • B.S. with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 7+ years of experience

  • High volume semiconductor back-end manufacturing automation development a must

  • Experience with production quality control a must

  • Laser processing experience a plus

  • Plasma tech or deposition processing experience a plus

Salary & Benefits:
  • The base salary range for this role is $185,000 - $275,000; The pay range provided is an estimated base range for this role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
