Overview

Infinite Machine is hiring a Manufacturing & Sourcing Program Manager to oversee production execution, sourcing, and quality at our contract manufacturer and suppliers in China. You’ll be responsible for keeping builds on schedule, resolving manufacturing and supplier issues, and ensuring our vehicles meet quality standards as we scale production.

This is a hands-on role based primarily at our contract manufacturer in Lufeng, with regular travel to suppliers across China. You’ll work closely with our production, engineering, and vehicle operations teams in New York.

We’re looking for someone who has managed builds from the factory floor, knows what great manufacturing looks like, and takes ownership of problems through resolution. You proactively identify risks, hold manufacturing partners accountable, and help factory teams continuously improve.

Responsibilities
  • Own China-side execution against production plans, coordinating our contract manufacturer and suppliers from purchase order through shipment.

  • Track production schedules, identify bottlenecks and delivery risks, and drive improvements in throughput, line balancing, and material flow.

  • Drive production readiness, including SOPs, line setup, tooling, fixtures, material availability, and operator training.

  • Source, qualify, and manage suppliers, ensuring delivery, quality, and cost targets are met.

  • Lead supplier commercial discussions, including quotes, pricing, lead times, and contract terms, in coordination with the New York team.

  • Oversee manufacturing and supplier quality, including process audits, IQC, IPQC, OQC, and adherence to approved specifications.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using factory and field data, tracking issues through verified resolution.

  • Coordinate engineering changes, ensuring updated parts, documentation, processes, and validation are implemented correctly.

  • Report production, supplier, quality, and schedule risks to the New York team, escalating issues early.

  • Establish scalable manufacturing and quality processes and support new product introductions.

Qualifications — Required
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, sourcing, supplier quality, or program management at hardware factories in China.

  • Experience managing mass production at contract manufacturers, including production schedules and coordination across multiple suppliers.

  • Experience sourcing, qualifying, and managing suppliers, including delivery schedules, pricing, and quality requirements.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, SOPs, quality inspection, factory audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

  • Fluent in Mandarin, with strong written and spoken English.

  • Confident working with factory operators, engineers, suppliers, and management, including holding partners accountable.

  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable independently representing Infinite Machine at the factory.

  • Practical, hands-on approach to manufacturing and quality improvement.

  • Ability to work primarily on-site at our contract manufacturer in Lufeng, with travel to suppliers across China and morning/evening calls with New York.

Qualifications — Preferred
  • Experience with e-bikes, motorcycles, electric vehicles, batteries, or other electromechanical products.

  • Experience at a small or overseas-headquartered company working with a large contract manufacturer.

  • Experience with cosmetic finishing on anodized aluminum and plastic components.

  • Working knowledge of PFMEA, DOE, MSA, and 8D.

  • Experience training operators and developing factory teams.
