At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to own, evolve, and fundamentally re-engineer our Marketo Engage platform into a self-sustaining, AI-augmented marketing automation system. This is a marketing systems role, not a traditional marketing operations or campaign execution role. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, agentic workflow design, CRM systems architecture, and scalable campaign infrastructure.

This is an ideal opportunity for a deeply technical Marketo expert who doesn't just administer a platform — you build the systems, frameworks, and automated pipelines that make the platform run itself. You will architect the technical foundation of our marketing automation environment: building self-healing data integrity systems, API orchestration layers, AI-powered template engines, and deeply integrated Salesforce sync infrastructure that scales without manual intervention.

This role requires someone who looks at every recurring manual process and asks: "How do I build a system that eliminates this?"

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
  • 5+ years building in automation systems on Adobe Marketo Engage in a high-volume, global B2B SaaS environment — not just administering, but continuously re-architecting for scale.

  • Active Marketo Certified Expert or Solutions Architect with a track record of building reusable infrastructure, not just executing campaigns.

  • Built and maintained Marketo–Salesforce integration architecture end-to-end: sync orchestration, automated field governance pipelines, lifecycle state machines, and self-monitoring sync health systems.

  • Designed API orchestration layers around Marketo REST and Bulk APIs — building rate-limit-aware middleware, automated retry/backoff systems, and concurrency management frameworks rather than manually monitoring usage.

  • Advanced JavaScript and Velocity engineering — building scalable personalization engines, dynamic form logic systems, and reusable scripting libraries rather than one-off scripts.

  • Built integration workflows on enterprise iPaaS (Workato, Tray.io) and have hands-on experience applying Generative AI and agentic patterns to replace legacy manual workflows with autonomous systems.

  • Architected privacy and consent management systems that enforce GDPR/CCPA compliance programmatically — automated classification, consent propagation, and audit trail generation rather than manual compliance checks.

  • Systems thinker who builds for the long term — every technical decision is made with architectural durability, extensibility, and self-service enablement in mind.

  • Built diagnostic and observability tooling for marketing automation — automated anomaly detection in smart-campaign logic, self-alerting audit systems, and root-cause analysis frameworks rather than manual break-fix cycles.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD:
  • A self-monitoring Marketo–Salesforce integration layer — automated sync health checks, self-healing error resolution, and proactive alerting that eliminates manual sync firefighting.

  • An intelligent API orchestration platform — middleware that manages REST and Bulk API interactions across Salesforce, Snowflake, and the enterprise stack with built-in rate limiting, retry logic, and usage analytics.

  • A global program template engine — a standardized, self-service template library that enables regional teams to deploy campaigns autonomously without custom builds for each request.

  • AI-augmented personalization infrastructure — scalable content systems using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Velocity that dynamically generate personalized experiences rather than requiring manual content creation for each segment.

  • Automated database health and compliance systems — continuous monitoring pipelines for deliverability, data quality, and compliance posture that surface issues and remediate automatically.

  • Cross-functional enablement tooling — self-service frameworks, documentation systems, and integration patterns that empower Marketing Intelligence, Web, Salesforce, and regional teams to operate independently within governed guardrails.

  • An AI and agentic automation roadmap — systematically evaluate and deploy emerging AI capabilities to replace manual campaign workflows with autonomous, agent-driven systems.

  • Escalation-proof architecture — build systems robust enough that complex automation, integration, and architecture challenges are resolved by the system's design, not by your availability.
