The Marketing Automation Specialist will own, rebuild, and scale My Amazon Guy’s marketing infrastructure, with a primary focus on HubSpot architecture, lifecycle automation, attribution clarity, and governance standards. This is a systems-first, hands-on role responsible for transforming our CRM and marketing automation ecosystem into a clean, scalable, revenue-driving engine. This is not a brand marketing or campaign execution role. This is a technical marketing systems leadership position focused on structure, integrity, and long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • HubSpot Architecture & Governance
    • Conduct a full audit of properties, workflows, lists, lifecycle stages, and automation logic
    • Remove deprecated workflows and redundant structures
    • Deduplicate contacts and companies
    • Redesign lifecycle stages for clarity and reporting integrity
    • Implement clean segmentation logic
    • Establish naming conventions and governance standards
    • Restrict permissions and prevent ad hoc workflow creation
    • Document system architecture and operational processes
  • Lifecycle Marketing & Automation
    • Build structured lifecycle segments (Lead, MQL, SQL, Opportunity, Customer)
    • Develop dynamic segmentation frameworks based on intent and readiness
    • Design and optimize automated nurture journeys
    • Align marketing automation with sales handoff rules
    • Eliminate unnecessary broadcast email volume
    • Ensure all workflows are tied to measurable revenue movement
  • BDR & Marketing Alignment
    • Align outbound outreach (ASIN review videos and follow-ups) with automation logic
    • Prevent overlapping or contradictory messaging
    • Ensure intent signals trigger correct actions
    • Maintain clean routing and lifecycle transitions
    • Connect human sales outreach with automation systems
  • Attribution & Funnel Clarity
    • Work across platforms including:
      • HubSpot (CRM)
      • ActiveCampaign
      • Instantly
      • Google Ads
      • Meta Ads
      • Retention.com
      • WordPress
      • GA4
      • Google Tag Manager
      • Google Search Console
      • Google Business Profile
      • Trustpilot
    • You will:
      • Standardize UTM governance
      • Improve multi-touch attribution visibility
      • Align ad reporting with lifecycle progression
      • Improve MQL → SQL → Opportunity tracking
      • Reduce reporting ambiguity for leadership
  • Marketing Infrastructure Protection
    • Create segmentation request protocols
    • Establish automation standards
    • Protect system integrity from short-term workarounds
    • Maintain documentation and system clarity
    • Serve as long-term owner of marketing systems governance


Requirements
  • 5+ years in Marketing Operations, RevOps, or Marketing Technology
  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot experience (required)
  • Proven experience cleaning and restructuring complex CRM environments
  • Strong understanding of paid media funnels and conversion tracking
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, lead scoring, and segmentation frameworks
  • Experience building or restructuring automation systems
  • Comfortable enforcing governance and setting system standards
  • Experience working with distributed teams (Filipino team experience preferred)
  • A dual-monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM)
  • Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
