The Role:

The Marketing Campaign Manager will own the marketing campaign lifecycle, from ideation and design to execution and measurement, developing successful campaigns which boost lead and demand generation, increase the sales funnel, and fuel the accelerated growth and profitability of the company. Utilizing their multi-faceted marketing background, they will actively drive the creation of field marketing campaigns, content, key assets, and collateral materials.  Additionally, this team member will support company and industry events and tradeshows.

Essential Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy and Planning

  • Develop campaign strategies and roadmaps that align with pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Define target audience, buyer personas and segmentation strategies.
  • Build targeted messaging frameworks and value propositions aligned to distinct industries and buyer personas.
  • Establish campaign roadmaps, including channels, timelines and KPIs.

Campaign Execution

  • Launch multi-touch campaigns to include:
    • Email nurture sequences with clear Calls to Action.
    • Campaign-related resources and conversion materials (white papers, eBooks, webinars, customer success stories, etc.).
    • Landing pages with clearly defined conversion paths.
    • Develop and execute retargeting strategies while advising on campaign optimization across paid media channels to drive higher ROI.
  • Partner with internal resources to support campaign creation and execution.

Content & Conversion Strategy

  • Drive development of campaign-specific content aligned to buyer journey stages to increase engagement and conversion rates.
  • Ensure tight alignment between messaging, offers, and calls-to-action to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Optimize key conversion points, including email performance and landing pages, to improve lead generation outcomes.

Sales Alignment

  • Partner with Sales and BDR teams to align campaigns with outbound efforts, increasing pipeline contribution.
  • Synchronize campaign messaging with outreach strategies to improve response and engagement rates.
  • Provide visibility into campaign activity, themes, and target accounts to support coordinated go-to-market execution.
  • Strengthen lead follow-up and nurture alignment to accelerate conversion through the funnel:
    • Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting sales processes and campaign execution
    • Educate the sales team on new campaign activities and areas of opportunity.

Performance & Optimization

  • Track, monitor and analyze key campaign metrics and KPIs and provide detailed, in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, measuring specific criteria, including cost per customer, conversion rates, and ROI.
    • Closely monitor and manage campaign budgets.
    • Analyze campaign performance data and trends and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
    • Deliver actionable insights and reporting to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.

Event & Field Marketing Support

  • Support event and tradeshow campaign strategy, planning, and follow-up to drive pipeline and post-event conversion.
  • Integrate events into broader demand generation and nurture programs to maximize ROI and lead impact.

Ongoing Core Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and manage third party relationships affiliated with marketing campaign and events.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Role Requirements:

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of successful, proven experience in marketing/campaign management/ demand generation role or B2B marketing, to include experience building and executing multi-channel lead generation campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent writing and messaging skills across different audiences and platforms:
    • Knack for changing and adapting the style, tone, and vernacular of content to match targeted social mediums, with ability to connect with customers.
  • Enterprise SaaS marketing experience preferred; ERP and CRM software marketing experience are a plus.
  • Experience working directly with an enterprise or midmarket sales teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset with ability to translate campaign performance data into actionable insight.
  • Solid project management experience with strong attention to detail, and a high level of business acumen.
  • High proficiency with MS Office; experience with HubSpot, Acumatica and ZoomInfo highly desired.
