Who Are We?     

Toro’s Irrigation and Lighting business is located in Riverside, CA. The Toro Company’s irrigation business is comprised of two distinct brands, Toro® and Irritrol®. Both brands offer a full line of solid, dependable, irrigation products including controllers, sensors, valves, spray heads and rotors to help customers care for golf courses, sports fields, public green spaces, commercial and residential properties. Unique Lighting Systems is a leading brand of professional grade lighting fixtures, low voltage transformers, LED lamps and the patented HUB system for installation. Serving both residential and commercial markets, Unique Lighting Systems offers a full line of outdoor lighting products. 

   

The Marketing Communications Manager (Product Launch & Brand Experience) is responsible for leading execution of integrated marketing programs across the Precision Irrigation portfolio, including Ag and Residential/Commercial (ResCom) segments. This role leads execution of limited and standard product launches, while contributing to major launches through brand activation and customer-facing deliverables. It also owns execution of customer-facing brand experiences, including tradeshows, field events, and in-market activations. The position partners cross-functionally with Product Management, Channel Marketing, Sales, and Marketing leadership to drive aligned, high-quality marketing execution that supports product adoption and reinforces brand standards. 

What Will You Do?  

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:  

​​​​Product Launch Marketing

  • Lead execution of limited and standard product launches across all phases of the MarCom framework, including planning, execution, and sustainment
  • Translate product strategy into integrated marketing plans across channels (email, web, social, collateral, and distributor tools)
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination to ensure launch readiness
  • Ensure messaging aligns with customer outcomes and brand standards
  • Contribute to major product launches by supporting brand activation and customer-facing execution elements

Sustaining Marketing & Lifecycle Activation

  • Lead ongoing marketing execution for products following launch
  • Develop and execute campaigns to support continued demand generation and product adoption
  • Refresh campaign assets and messaging to maintain market relevance
  • Partner with Sales and Channel teams to align with market needs and opportunities

Brand Experience & Customer Activation

  • Lead execution of customer-facing brand experiences, including tradeshows, field events, product demonstrations, and merchandising
  • Ensure all activations align with campaign messaging and brand standards
  • Support large-scale brand activations associated with major product launches

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Channel, and Sales teams to ensure aligned marketing execution
  • Ensure campaigns and launches align with MarCom frameworks and processes
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns

   

What Do You Need?  

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:  

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in marketing communications, product marketing, or campaign management
  • Experience leading product launches and integrated campaigns
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (tradeshows, field events, activations)

Preferred

  • Experience in contractor, distributor, or channel-driven industries
  • Background in irrigation, agriculture, or technical product marketing
  • Experience with tradeshows, events, or brand activations
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred

Scope & Impact

  • Leads execution of limited and standard product launches across multiple product lines
  • Supports major launches through defined, contributing role
  • Drives execution of brand experience across key customer touchpoints
  • Influences launch success, demand generation, and quality of customer-facing marketing initiatives

  • Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between ​$123,000 - ​$129,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by company policy and performance metrics. If you need to, you can access your pay early with the dailypay app.
