SpecterOps is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to own email and ad copywriting while building the AI-powered systems that will scale this work. This role partners closely with Demand Generation and Product Marketing to produce high-converting, brand-consistent copy and to develop AI agents and workflows that can handle email and ad production reliably, freeing the individual to focus increasingly on long-form content like whitepapers, reports, and web pages.

We’re looking for someone who is equally strong as a writer and as an AI practitioner. You know what good copy looks like, and you know how to get an AI system to produce it consistently, not just occasionally.

Hourly Range: $30 – $40/hour, commensurate with experience

Location:

This position is remote, based in the U.S. with optional travel quarterly for in-person company events and other ad hoc meetings.

  • Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas.

Responsibilities

  • Write and iterate on email copy across nurture sequences, promotional campaigns, product announcements, and event-driven sends
  • Write ad copy for paid social, display, and search campaigns across the buyer journey
  • Build and refine AI agents and prompt-based workflows for email and ad copy generation that produce brand-consistent, audience-appropriate output at scale
  • Document SpecterOps brand voice, messaging frameworks, and copywriting standards in formats usable for AI system training and prompting
  • Review, edit, and quality-control AI-generated copy against brand, tone, and accuracy standards
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Design to align copy with campaign objectives and creative direction
  • Monitor copy performance data and feed insights back into both human and AI-generated content iterations
  • Transition an increasing portion of email and ad production to AI-assisted workflows over time, shifting personal focus toward long-form content including reports, whitepapers, and web pages

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio of email and ad copy
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to produce marketing content not experimentally, but as a core part of your workflow
  • Strong prompt engineering skills, including experience building repeatable prompts and workflows that produce consistent, high-quality output
  • Experience building or operating AI-assisted content systems, automation workflows, or content production pipelines
  • Strong editing instincts, you can tell when AI copy is off-brand, inaccurate, or flat, and you know how to fix it
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Marketo
  • Ability to work across content formats and adapt to multiple audiences and funnel stages
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, async-first environment

Nice to Haves

  • Experience writing for cybersecurity, identity security, or technical B2B audiences
  • Experience producing long-form content such as whitepapers, research reports, or solution briefs
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) and how copy requirements differ by channel
  • Experience with prompt libraries, AI content governance, or LLM fine-tuning workflows

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. To request reasonable accommodations, please contact us at [email protected]. Unsolicited resumes are not accepted.
