About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Content Manager to join our in-house marketing team. This role will create and champion engaging wine content that makes wine more approachable, discoverable, and exciting for every type of customer—from serious collectors and passionate enthusiasts to everyday wine drinkers. You’ll develop creative content strategies that inspire exploration of new wines, regions, producers, and experiences while ensuring content is accurate, authentic, and coordinated across Wine.com's website, social, and video channels.

A Day in the Life

· Identify content opportunities, themes, and featured wines in order to build audience-specific content strategies for collectors, enthusiasts, and everyday wine drinkers

· Oversee content quality, consistency, and brand alignment including coordination with designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

· Manage social media and digital video content planning and execution

· Coordinate production of producer profiles, region guides, educational resources, and landing pages for the website and app

· Ensure accuracy and credibility of wine information across all content channels in order to ensure branded content serves the interests of both novice and experienced wine enthusiasts

· Own the optimization of Wine.com’s digital content strategy, utilizing engagement, traffic, and content performance metrics to optimize our digital brand footprint

Role Summary

Develop creative content strategies that inspire exploration of new wines, regions, producers, and experiences while ensuring content is accurate, authentic, and coordinated across Wine.com's website, social, and video channels. Help shape a connected content ecosystem that drives engagement, traffic, sales, and customer loyalty.

Content Strategy & Campaign Development

· Develop content strategies and campaign recommendations for leadership review

· Build content calendars and campaign plans across channels

· Identify content opportunities, themes, and featured wines

· Create audience-specific content strategies for collectors, enthusiasts, and everyday wine drinkers

· Ensure content and campaigns work together across channels to drive engagement, traffic, and sales

· Recommend new content formats, storytelling approaches, and creative concepts

Content Production & Creative Management

· Manage content production workflows from planning through publication

· Coordinate with designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

· Oversee content quality, consistency, and brand alignment

· Maintain content schedules and publishing timelines

· Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across channels

Social Media & Video Content

· Manage social media content planning and execution

· Oversee content quality and consistency across social channels

· Support development and execution of YouTube content strategy and programming

· Coordinate winemaker interviews, educational videos, and other original content

· Organize supplier seminars, livestreams, and virtual tasting experiences

· Ensure content follows platform best practices and performance trends

Editorial & Website Content

· Manage creation of website editorial, educational, and promotional content

· Coordinate production of producer profiles, region guides, educational resources, and landing pages

· Lead content planning and development for 'On the Road with Wine.com'

· Develop content briefs and storytelling frameworks for contributors

· Help transform buyer insights and supplier stories into engaging customer content

Wine Expertise & Content Quality

· Ensure accuracy and credibility of wine information across all content channels

· Review content for factual accuracy, wine knowledge, and educational value

· Maintain a balanced mix of content across regions, countries, producers, varietals, styles, and price points

· Identify opportunities to introduce customers to new wines, regions, and producers

· Ensure content serves the interests of both novice and experienced wine enthusiasts

AI-Assisted Content Operations

· Leverage AI tools to support content research, planning, creation, and optimization

· Use AI to identify content opportunities, themes, featured wines, and audience insights

· Review AI-generated content for wine accuracy, quality, and brand standards

· Identify opportunities to improve content workflows and efficiency through AI

· Assist in testing and optimizing AI-driven content processes

Reporting & Performance Analysis

· Track content production and campaign performance across channels

· Maintain dashboards, reports, and content tracking systems

· Analyze engagement, traffic, and content performance metrics

· Present findings and recommendations to management

· Recommend content optimizations based on performance data


Compensation Range

Base salary: $65,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience.
