Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
The Marketing Content Strategist is responsible for supporting the development and driving the execution of Apple Bank’s content strategy across marketing channels. This role applies industry best practices and insights from financial services communications to inform content direction, enhance marketing effectiveness, and ensure delivery of high-quality, impactful marketing materials aligned with Marketing Team objectives. The Strategist contributes to strengthening brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement, while supporting the delivery of measurable return on investment (ROI).
Key duties include contributing to the design and refinement of content frameworks, standards, and messaging approaches, while leading the development and execution of content that effectively communicates the features and benefits of the Bank’s products and services. The incumbent also oversees the organization and maintenance of a centralized content library and is accountable for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on content performance to inform optimization and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience across digital marketing channels, including search, display, long-form content such as articles and blogs, email, and social media, as well as traditional marketing methods like direct mail and customer communications. This position requires the ability to balance strategic input with hands-on execution, producing high-quality, compliant marketing materials and ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively in alignment with internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.

ESSNENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor financial services content trends and market practices to provide informed recommendations on content strategy and optimize the content mix aligned with the Bank’s brand and target audiences.
  • Evaluate existing content practices and contribute to enhancements in quality, governance, and approval of workflows to improve execution efficiency.
  • Develop and execute targeted content across key channels—including paid media, email, and social media—to support marketing and business objectives.
  • Partner with the Deputy Head of Marketing & Creative Strategy Officer and agency teams to support campaign strategy and execution through effective content and creative deliverables.
  • Assist in planning, monitoring, and managing the annual marketing content budget.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance content development processes, improve speed to market, and support overall marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and agency partners to implement AI-supported content initiatives that strengthen visibility across search and emerging digital platforms.
  • Support the evaluation and onboarding of vendors and partnerships to advance content capabilities and expand brand reach.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure content is consistent, on-brand, and aligned with business priorities and audience needs.
  • Maintain and continuously improve a centralized content library to support scalability and efficient reuse of materials.
  • Contribute to the development of content performance metrics and leverage dashboards and reporting to track effectiveness and inform ongoing optimization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or a related field required; advanced certifications or continuing education in relevant disciplines preferred.
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in content strategy and design, including demonstrated impact within complex or regulated environments; financial services experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced expertise in marketing and design platforms, including Adobe, Figma, and Hootsuite, with the ability to shape platform strategy, governance, and enterprise adoption.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive cross-functional alignment, and support executive-level decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment while leading strategic initiatives aligned with broader organizational priorities.
  • Proven leadership capability, including experience mentoring and developing talent, fostering collaboration, and contributing to a high-performance, results-driven team environment.
