About the role

This role will be the first marketing hire at Whetstone Research.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Whetstone's marketing including Pure Markets and Doppler

  2. Create digital content for social media, multiple websites, and video campaigns

  3. Manage internal and external contributors to release high quality content

  4. Help us know what we don't know. How, and what, should we prioritize?

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who understands the unique ins-and-outs of the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Someone who gets NFT or memecoin culture, yet also knows why Stripe and various fortune 500 companies are inevitably going to come onchain, or even build their own chains. This ideal person for this role will be comfortable and have experience working across Whetstone's multiple audiences, from pure's focus on consumer trading, to Doppler being a more traditional B2B SaaS product. Even better if you have previous experience leading consumer go to market or marketing at other successful companies. Generally, we hope that you love this industry as much as we do, and are as terminally online as we are.

About Whetstone Research

Whetstone Research is focused on designing and building new protocols that accelerate the future of onchain markets. The team is less than 10 people with deep hands on experience in the blockchain industry; previously at Uniswap, Primitive, Aztec, and numerous others. We are working on Doppler, a hyper-efficient price discovery and liquidity bootstrapping Protocol built on the EVM, used by Zora and others.
