About Goldsky

Goldsky is the data platform for financial products built on stablecoins. We give fintechs and financial institutions the real-time data infrastructure they need to launch stablecoin accounts, balances, payments, custody, and settlement products, without becoming blockchain infrastructure companies themselves.

Behind the scenes we operate one of the most demanding production data platforms in the industry. Our infrastructure powers high-volume products at companies like Polymarket, 0x, Kraken, and Circle, and continuously indexes onchain activity across dozens of networks with the latency, accuracy, and reliability that production financial systems require. As stablecoins move from a crypto primitive into mainstream financial infrastructure, fintechs and commercial institutions are turning to Goldsky to abstract away the messy parts (chains, RPCs, reorgs, indexing) so they can ship the financial products their customers actually want.

We’ve raised over $20M from Dragonfly Capital, Felicis Ventures, 0x Labs, Uniswap Labs, Protocol Labs, and angel investors including Plaid founders Zach Perret and William Hockey, and Zhuoxun Yin of Magic Eden. Our team has previously built mission-critical infrastructure at Meta, Google, Shopify, Activision, and more.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Marketing Lead to be one of the first marketers at Goldsky, working closely with the Head of Marketing to bring our fintech and stablecoin refocus to life. You’ll be a player-coach: shipping the work yourself while shaping how marketing operates at Goldsky. You’ll report to the Head of Marketing.

This is a high-leverage role at an important moment. The strategic narrative is set. The infrastructure is real and in production at major fintechs. The customer pipeline is forming. We need someone who can take all of that and turn it into the campaigns, content, launches, and stories that put Goldsky on the map as the data platform for stablecoin products.

Responsibilities:

  • Own marketing execution across product marketing, content, demand generation, lifecycle, and events. You’ll wear multiple hats early and grow the surface area you own as the team expands.

  • Translate the product into a fintech story. Take Goldsky’s products (Mirror, Subgraphs, Turbo, Edge & Compose) and turn them into messaging frameworks, sales collateral, one-pagers, and narratives that fintech product leaders and engineers immediately understand.

  • Run launches end to end. Coordinate with product, engineering, and design to bring new capabilities to market with cohesive launch motions: site updates, content, social, partner co-marketing, customer quotes, and pipeline activation.

  • Build the content engine. Write or commission technical posts, customer stories, point-of-view pieces on stablecoin adoption, and category-shaping thought leadership. Set the editorial calendar and own quality.

  • Run demand programs. Operate paid, organic, ABM, and partner channels to generate pipeline for the sales team. Measure what works, kill what doesn’t, double down on the rest.

  • Own events. Plan Goldsky’s presence at fintech, stablecoin, and developer events: sponsorships, dinners, side events, and the field engine around them.

  • Manage agencies, freelancers, and vendors for design, content, paid media, and PR as needed. Get great work out of small budgets.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

  • You have around 5 to 8 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally with time at an infrastructure, fintech, payments, or developer-tools company. You’ve shipped campaigns, owned channels, and operated as a generalist.

  • You’re a strong writer. You can produce a customer story, a launch blog, a sales one-pager, and a sharp piece of social copy without needing a heavy editorial layer above you.

  • You’re comfortable with technical products. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you can understand how stablecoins, payments rails, real-time data, and operational workflows fit together, and explain it back simply.

  • You operate fast and finish things. You’d rather ship a clean V1 this week than a perfect V3 next month.

  • You’re measurement-oriented. You set up the dashboards yourself if you have to. You’re comfortable working with sales and ops to understand what actually drove pipeline.

  • You’re excited to work in a small, fast team and grow with it. You’re comfortable being one of the first marketers in a company that is repositioning into a much bigger market.

Bonus points for:

  • You’ve worked on a brand or product reposition before.

  • You have direct experience marketing to fintechs, banks, or financial institutions.

  • You understand stablecoins, onchain finance, or developer infrastructure deeply enough to write with authority.

  • You’ve launched a product end to end, not just supported one.

  • You’ve built or owned an ABM program targeting enterprise accounts.

Benefits

  • Health Insurance - Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family.

  • Retirement - 401(k) plan through Vestwell.

  • Flexible Time Off - Take time to recharge as you need it. We’re serious.

  • Self Care Days - Every other Friday we have off. These days reflect our work philosophy: nine days at 110%, followed by one day to recharge.

  • Home Office Stipend - $2,000 to create your dream office.

  • New MacBook - We set you up with the best hardware, with a refresh every two years.

  • Wellness Stipend - $100/mo for whatever helps you stay healthy.

  • Connectivity Stipend - $75/mo to cover your phone or internet bill.

  • Semi-Annual Travel - We meet up twice per year for company on-sites and retreats around the globe.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
