The Marketing Manager, Events and Content will own the planning and execution of Cobot’s most important external events and experiences, from major industry moments to high-value customer, partner, and investor visits. You’ll bring together teams across Marketing, GTM, Engineering, Design, and leadership to create experiences that tell a compelling story about what we’re building and generate measurable business impact. Beyond events, you’ll support content, social, and executive communications, turning technical ideas and company moments into clear, engaging stories for external audiences. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who is equally comfortable managing the details of a complex event, writing strong copy, coordinating across teams, and figuring things out quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.

At Cobot, we build humanoid robots and the Physical AI that powers their intelligence. Our products have to be seen to be fully understood. A customer watching the system run on a floor, in person, is one of the highest-value experiences we can produce. This role owns both ends of that: producing the events and experiences where we show up, and helping carry the story afterward across our content and channels.

Join us to reimagine the future of human-robot interaction.

Collaborative Robotics is a team of innovators and builders redefining the future of human-robot interaction. We are working to realize a world where robots are a trusted extension of your surroundings. They work, adapt, and react around you. Not the other way around.

This role is located onsite at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters. (Onsite minimum 3 days per week; Bay Area only.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of the two major external events each year plus selected smaller activations: objectives, booth and experience, vendors, contracts, shipping, budget, run-of-show, staffing, contingency, onsite execution, and post-event follow-through.

  • Build and run the cross-functional pre-event plan: audience development, meeting generation, social promotion, supporting content, and a plan to capture material onsite.

  • Lead the cross-functional working team per event, aligning Engineering, GTM, executives, and Design.

  • Own event materials and readiness (signage, collateral, merchandise, equipment inventory) plus backups for demo, vendor, shipping, and logistical failures.

  • Own the experience for high-value customer, partner, and investor visits at HQ: shape the arc, coordinate demonstrations and presenters, and land a cohesive story (the experience itself, not general office or visitor coordination).

  • Manage event budgets and vendors, and track what each event cost against what it produced.

  • Support day-to-day content and social across LinkedIn, X, and YouTube under the Director's direction: asset generation and scheduling, post scheduling, and some creative.

  • Ideate recurring formats (customer stories and case studies, launch copy, event recaps, and technical explainers that make what we build legible to non-builders) and draft for executives from their thinking (LinkedIn posts, talk abstracts, keynote and customer-briefing talking points).

  • Follow through with Design: clear, specific, on-time requests with the copy already written, so their work is production rather than rescue.

  • Measure and act: report event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, meetings generated, follow-up conversion, social engagement, audience growth, and content consumption; keep event and campaign data clean in the CRM; and recommend what to repeat, change, or stop.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four to eight years in B2B marketing, communications, events, or content. We care more about what you have actually run than the exact shape of the job.

  • Writing and ideation at the core. Send us work you wrote; we will read and watch it closely. Range matters more than polish on any one piece.

  • Evidence you have run real events end to end: a budget you owned, vendors you managed, multiple stakeholders, and a date that could not move.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent project-management skills; keeps a complex program moving across teams and follows through without being reminded.

  • Comfort being onsite: factory floor, customer facility, booth.

  • Fluency with AI tools as part of how you actually work.

  • Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.

  • Willing to occasionally travel.

  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to robotics, hardware, manufacturing, logistics, or another industry where the buyer has to trust a physical machine.

  • Hands-on ability to capture usable footage and photos at an event and trim a short clip.

  • Experience supporting executive communications at a company small enough that you had to figure it out yourself.

  • Experience hosting senior customers, partners, or investors and adapting the experience for different audiences.

  • Working knowledge of a CRM or marketing-automation platform (HubSpot ideal).
