About 3i

3i is a rapidly growing, invitation-only community of private investors sharing deals, insights, and contacts. With a focus on alternative and off-market deal flow, shared benefits, and investor services, 3i serves as a kitchen table around which highly engaged family offices and private allocators can discuss and debate compelling, unexpected opportunities in emerging sectors.

Marketing Manager – New York

3i is hiring a Marketing Manager to join a small, high-output team building the brand infrastructure for one of the fastest-growing private investor networks in the country.

This role owns the day-to-day execution of 3i's marketing communications — from our weekly member newsletter to event promotion, onboarding sequences, and Summit programming. You'll work closely with the Head of Brand and Marketing to shape how we tell our story, who hears it, and how we grow our community while preserving the intimacy and exclusivity that make 3i special. It's a chance to do meaningful marketing work in a space that rarely gets it right.

This role is based full-time in our New York City office near Madison Square Park and reports to the Head of Brand and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the weekly member newsletter end to end — writing, editing, coordinating inputs, and ensuring consistent voice and quality every week.

  • Write and manage all member-facing communications including event invitations, onboarding emails, announcements, and ongoing member engagement campaigns.

  • Maintain and evolve 3i's brand voice across all written touchpoints, ensuring consistency across channels and audiences.

  • Manage and grow 3i's presence on LinkedIn and other relevant brand channels — developing content, writing posts, and ensuring the channel reflects the voice and standards of the brand.

  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategy for events, the annual Summit, and programming initiatives.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop messaging for new products, member initiatives, and community programming.

  • Manage relationships with freelance writers, designers, and other creative vendors — briefing, reviewing, and ensuring output meets brand standards.

  • Track performance of email communications and brand channels to surface insights and inform future content and strategy.

  • Support internal communications as needed, including team updates and member-facing announcements.

About You

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing, brand, or communications — ideally at a financial services firm, a media company, or premium consumer brand.

  • Exceptional writer. This is non-negotiable. You write with clarity, economy, and a strong editorial instinct. You can adapt your voice to match a brand and a person.

  • Proven track record owning a newsletter or regular content publication, with a demonstrated history of consistency and quality.

  • Experience managing a brand's social presence, particularly LinkedIn, with an understanding of what drives engagement among a professional and high-net-worth audience.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, lean environment where you are expected to execute at a high level with limited oversight.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with HubSpot and similar email marketing platforms.

  • Genuine interest in investing, private markets, or finance is a plus — intellectual curiosity about the subject matter matters here.

  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City. This is a full-time, in-office role.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation

  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(k)

  • Collaborative office environment at 41 Madison-a hub for leading founders and investors

  • Paid time off - Unlimited vacation
