Position Summary  


Skylar, a member of the Starco Brands family is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and consumer-focused Marketing Operations Associate. This role will support the execution and optimization of marketing initiatives across our portfolio of products and brands. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to support brand growth and improve operational efficiency, as well as support marketing strategy across both retail and eCommerce channels. As part of the Starco Brands team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and share resources across multiple brands, and may also work on exciting projects for other Starco brands! 


Key Responsibilities 


Brand Marketing & Consumer Engagement 

  • Support the development and execution of brand plans and initiatives. 

  • Assist in the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across eCommerce and retail channels. 

  • Partner with agencies, designers, and internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints. 

  • Monitor consumer trends, competitive activity, and category developments to identify opportunities for brand growth. 

Product Launch Support 

  • Assist in managing launch timelines, cross-functional deliverables, and go-to-market plans. 

  • Coordinate product launch materials including retailer presentations, sales tools, product content, and marketing assets. 

  • Partner with Product Development and Operations teams to ensure successful product commercialization and launch execution. 

Retail Marketing & Commercial Execution 

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to support retailer programs, promotional initiatives, merchandising opportunities, and shopper marketing activities. 

  • Support the execution of new customer launches, assortment updates, promotional calendars, and merchandising programs. 

  • Help manage retailer.com product content, imagery, and digital shelf optimization initiatives. 

  • Assist in maintaining retailer-specific marketing materials, presentations, and customer-facing brand assets. 

  • Support the sales team by coordinating product samples for customer meetings and brand events. 

Business Analysis & Reporting 

  • Analyze sales performance, distribution trends, promotional effectiveness, and market opportunities. 

  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, scorecards, and performance trackers. 

  • Monitor brand health metrics and identify opportunities to improve brand performance and market share. 

  • Support business reviews and presentations for internal leadership and retail partners. 

  • Assist in tracking marketing program performance and ROI. 

Cross-Functional Project Management 

  • Coordinate projects across Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Operations teams. 

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for key brand initiatives. 

  • Help ensure successful execution of brand priorities while maintaining organizational alignment. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. 

  • 3–5 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Product Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, or related CPG roles. 

  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills and the ability to translate product features into compelling benefits that resonate with consumers and drive engagement. 

  • Strong interest in consumer packaged goods and brand building. 

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales and market data. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in fragrance, beauty, food, beverage, grocery, or related CPG categories. 

  • Familiarity with omnichannel retail, including brick-and-mortar and eCommerce channels. 

  • Experience with retailer marketing programs, shopper marketing, or retail merchandising. 

  • Experience supporting product launches and commercialization initiatives. 

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, and retailer media networks.
