Work Arrangement
Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to dealerships in a reoccurring frequency.
The territory covers Houston, Texas and surrounding cities. The selected candidate must live in territory or relocate to Houston, TX or surrounding area.
This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
The Role
The Sales professional has territorial responsibility for the administration of the Sales and Service Agreements that exist between GM and its dealers. They often act as consultants to the dealers and work reciprocally with them on the development and implementation of their business plans. They may be involved in a variety of initiatives including execution of marketing initiatives, customer retention, financial analysis, and training.
What You'll Do:
  • Proactive leadership and full accountability for district revenue, customer retention, and exceptional service quality.
  • Lead district revenue growth, retention, and customer experience with full accountability for performance outcomes.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to dealership leadership, fostering strong partnerships and driving business success.
  • Drive revenue growth and KPI achievement through effective execution of CCA programs, initiatives, and related activities.
  • Conduct thorough dealer engagements using standardized processes, prioritizing dealer needs and GM performance objectives.
  • Analyze and optimize dealer marketing and merchandising strategies to enhance service lane traffic and overall customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement annual business plans , proactively addressing challenges with strategic countermeasures.
  • Resolve aftersales customer needs efficiently, including SPAC/CAC/TAC cases, goodwill/warranty/policy requests, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) across revenue, customer retention, training completion, and EV compliance.

Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading, guiding and improving dealership fixed operations
  • Proficient automotive industry knowledge and business acumen including service operations, warranty administration and customer experience
  • Effective oral and written persuasive and informative communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Dealership Service & Parts Operations:
    • Automotive Parts and Service Systems
    • Dealer Operating Report & Fixed Analysis Tools
    • Dealership profit department's structure and interconnectivity
    • Consultative Selling Skills
