The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Marketing Associate to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position. 
Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of a broad variety of corporate events (national and regional) – consistent with overall Marketing strategy and goals – to host consistent, knowledge-building, engaging gatherings of the highest quality

  • Ownership of event calendar to align with overall business objectives

  • Coordination with onsite facilities (i.e., hotels, vendors) to ensure seamless organization of events

  • Development and distribution of content related to the events, follow-up and ensuring optimal audiences are cultivated and targeted

  • Creation of optimal schedule, formats, and communications vehicles to enhance audience engagement

  • Constantly brainstorming for new approaches – we want your thoughts and ideas!

  • Promoting our brand guidelines and standards of high quality and best-in-class solutions and offerings

  • Assisting in developing KPIs and exceeding goals to demonstrate our success

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree

  • 2-3 years of related event marketing, branding, and communications experience including knowledge of diverse digital media platforms encompassing key metrics offerings

  • Familiarity with insurance, customer retail, and/or involvement in large-scale events

  • Passion for learning and growth, and contributing to a team

  • Ability to travel up to 20% annually
