Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on content creation, email campaigns, and newsletters. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting compelling content, a deep understanding of audience segmentation, and experience with email marketing tools and strategies. This role will be crucial in building and nurturing our relationship with our customers through engaging and informative content.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various marketing materials, including blog posts, articles, website copy, social media, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and on-brand content.
Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to all content to increase online visibility and engagement.
Email Campaigns:
Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails, that align with the company’s marketing goals.
Segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and other data points to ensure targeted and personalized messaging.
A/B test email campaigns to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Newsletter Management:
Plan, create, and distribute regular newsletters to engage and inform our audience.
Monitor and analyze the performance of newsletters, making adjustments to content, format, and delivery based on data and feedback.
Maintain and grow the subscriber list through effective lead-generation tactics.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for content, email campaigns, and newsletters.
Use data-driven insights to refine and improve future marketing efforts.
Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team and other stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure alignment between content, email, and overall marketing strategies.
Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure that marketing efforts support business objectives and customer needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep our marketing strategies fresh and effective.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in content creation, email marketing, and/or newsletter management.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo) and content management systems (CMS).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail.
Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset.
