Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join our Fulfillment team in Everett, WA.
The selected candidate will be working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the SC organization. This position is supplier facing and will be responsible for managing the relationship with external suppliers and project managing all aspects of their performance. The Fulfillment Manager will lead a team supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, develop and execute integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives. The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspects of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can demonstrate their knowledge of the company and multiple functional subject areas to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers' expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team. The candidate must be willing to work second shift.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages and integrates employee and mid-level manager activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operation functions (Manufacturing, Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Operations)
  • 10+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams, preferably leading both salary and hourly personnel
  • 10+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 10+ years of experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in Inventory Management or Supply Chain processes and techniques
  • 10+ years of experience with warehousing and logistics
  • 10+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification
  • 10+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
$179,350 - $242,650
