Our Corporate Venture team, NexBreak Venture, is seeking a MBA (Product Engineering) Intern focused on AI, Content Innovation to ideate, validate, and launch products from concept to early traction. You will work at the intersection of technology, product, and entrepreneurship to turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable businesses. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This is not an “strategy” role — this is a 0→1 builder position for someone who can architect intelligent systems, validate markets, and spin out venture-scale businesses
  • Establish growth trajectories through technical enablement (user acquisition, product-led growth, monetization etc.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to do rapid prototyping, and readily build relationships across startups, venture capital firms, startup accelerators, and other ecosystem partners. 

Must have:

  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields from top tier University. MBA preferred. Strong ability for coding. 
  • 3 years + working experience in Software engineering, ML engineering, Product/Growth/GTM/Monetization experience
  • Founder’s mindset, builder’s mentality and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and strong executive presence with an ability to present thoughtful input to decision-making

Bonus point:

  • Founder or Co-Founder Experience
  • Existing network in the San Francisco Bay Area’s startup ecosystem
  • Passion for innovative technologies and artificial intelligence, with a strong pulse on key trends, themes and players
Hourly Pay: $40- $60

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
