  • When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive.

  • Set agency goals, manage scopes of work, and lead regular business reviews, performance readouts, and optimization planning.

  • Ensure media plans align with Pluralsight’s full-funnel objectives across B2B, Brand, and B2C.

Strategy direction and execution (B2B, Brand, and B2C)

  • Help shape and execute integrated media strategies that support Pluralsight’s growth goals—driving B2B demand and pipeline impact while scaling B2C acquisition and retention.

  • Partner cross-functionally to translate business priorities into channel plans, flighting strategies, testing roadmaps, and optimization playbooks.

Partnership with Revenue Marketing

  • Collaborate with Revenue Marketing and GTM leads to ensure media reflects campaign and audience strategies.

  • Integrate media into field, event, and ABM programs with clear performance goals and reporting.

  • Adapt media execution based on evolving business priorities and performance trends.

Partnership with Marketing Ops, Analytics and Finance

  • Partner closely with Analytics to define measurement frameworks, reporting standards, and attribution approaches; ensure insights drive action.

  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, budget governance, spend reconciliation, variance analysis, and ROI narratives complete with actionable insights across B2B, Brand, and B2C.

  • Partner with Marketing Ops, Analytics and Finance in building shared visibility across performance, pacing, and outcomes—ensuring decisions are data-driven and financially sound.

Performance management and KPI ownership

  • Own media KPIs and performance outcomes across channels (e.g., pipeline impact, CAC/ROAS, conversions, retention, awareness).

  • Lead ongoing testing and optimization (creative, audience, landing experience, channel mix) to improve efficiency and incrementality.

  • Establish dashboards and reporting cadences that provide clarity on performance and drivers.

  • Deliver recurring executive-level performance reporting and insights across paid media, overall marketing spend, and promotional investments.

  • Create clear, decision-ready narratives: results vs. goals, key drivers, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended actions.

Budget ownership and financial operations

  • Manage media budgets with strong forecasting, pacing, and reconciliation practices.

  • Partner with Finance on governance, approvals, and spend alignment.

  • Oversee invoicing workflows and ensure financial accuracy.

B2C promotional discount strategy

  • Own and manage Pluralsight’s B2C promotional discount strategy, including promo calendar planning, offer design, and performance evaluation.

  • Monitor promotional performance and recommend adjustments to improve conversion and long-term value.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience with major paid platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic/CTV, YouTube) and modern measurement approaches (attribution, incrementality testing)

  • Experience partnering with Demand Gen, Field, Events, Analytics, and Finance in a matrixed organization.

  • Experience building or improving marketing budget governance and reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in paid media, growth marketing, or performance marketing, including ownership of strategy and execution. B2B media experience required.

  • Proven experience managing and scaling a media agency relationship (planning, execution, optimization, budget).

  • Strong track record of KPI ownership and driving measurable outcomes across full-funnel media.

  • Experience managing significant budgets, forecasting/pacing, and translating performance into executive-ready insights.

  • Operational strength with invoicing workflows, approvals, and accounts payable record-keeping.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills; able to influence without authority.

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
