Aman at Sea is the maritime expression of one of the world’s most singular luxury lifestyle brands carrying the Aman philosophy of peace, space, and authentic human connection beyond the shore. Guided by Aman’s enduring mission to create transformative experiences that change the way guests see the world, our inaugural luxury motor yacht, Amangati, is shaped by the same design integrity, radical personalization, and peerless service that have defined Aman since 1988. At the heart of Aman is a belief in the power of stillness, the beauty of place, and the art of considered hospitality values that live as much in our people as in our spaces. Every member of our shipboard leadership team is a keeper of that philosophy, and a living ambassador of the Aman brand.

Position Summary

The Media Manager - Content Editor is Amangati’s onboard guardian of written and visual communication, responsible for the production, quality, and timely delivery of all printed and digital guest materials. From daily program and menus to signage, event collateral, and bespoke voyage publications, the role ensures every piece meets the highest standards of design, accuracy, and brand alignment, reflecting the Aman aesthetic. Working closely with the General Manager and Aman at Sea’s corporate team, the Media Manager / Editor oversees all onboard design and desktop publishing, maintaining brand integrity across every touchpoint and ensuring the communication experience is as refined as the overall Amangati guest journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and publish all onboard guest communications (daily program, menus, signage, event collateral, newsletters, and digital materials) accurately and on time.

• Design all content (layout, imagery, copy) in full alignment with Aman at Sea brand standards and aesthetic.

• Proofread, edit, and quality-check all materials, ensuring zero-error, on-brand output.

• Manage menu production in all venues and languages, coordinating translation, localization, and approvals.

• Support translation and adaptation of all guest communications with departments and external resources

• Review final layouts and proactively improve design, content, and presentation quality.

• Deliver all additional print, signage, and bespoke design requests, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Support communications for special guests, media, and charter program in coordination with management and corporate office.

• Maintain production equipment, ensuring functionality through regular checks and prompt issue resolution.

• Manage inventory of paper and consumables, track usage, and coordinate timely replenishment.

• Maintain organized digital archives, backups, templates, and administrative records.

• Communicate closely with management and departments, while adhering to SOPs, safety standards, and supporting training and additional assignments.

Experience

• Degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design, digital media, journalism, communications, or a related creative discipline.

• Demonstrable professional experience in desktop publishing and graphic design, with a portfolio that reflects strong visual sensibility, typographic precision, and an eye for refined detail.

• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or equivalent publishing software; confident working across both print and digital production formats.

• Experience producing and managing print and digital marketing or communications material in a guest-facing, hospitality, or luxury brand environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with large-format printers, photocopiers, scanners, and related production equipment; a practical, hands-on approach to equipment care and maintenance.

• Strong written English with outstanding editorial precision — this role demands absolute accuracy in all published guest communications; excellent proofreading ability is essential.

• Fluency in English plus a minimum of one additional language is required; fluency in two or more additional languages — particularly German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin — is a significant advantage given the international composition of Aman’s guests.

• Highly organized, self-managing, and able to juggle multiple concurrent production deadlines calmly and without compromise to quality or accuracy.

• A genuine creative curiosity and a personal commitment to craft; someone who takes quiet pride in the excellence of every published piece, however large or small.

• Discreet, professional, and respectful of guest and crew confidentiality at all times; a collaborative team member who communicates openly and contributes positively to the shipboard working environment.
