Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Meditech GL Consultant to support our client with the implementation and optimization of the Meditech Finance & Accounts Payable (AP) modules. The client currently maintains their General Ledger (GL) data in Sage Intacct and their AP data across a combination of Sage and spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong Meditech GL background to help transition, streamline, and optimize these financial processes within the Meditech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consulting support for the Meditech Finance and AP modules.
  • Assist in the migration and integration of GL data from Sage Intacct into Meditech.
  • Support the consolidation of AP data currently maintained across Sage and spreadsheets into the Meditech AP module.
  • Configure, test, and optimize Meditech GL and AP workflows to meet client business requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for process improvements within the Meditech financial modules.
  • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client end-users and internal teams.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with the Meditech General Ledger (GL) module.
  • Working knowledge of the Meditech Accounts Payable (AP) module.
  • Experience with financial data migrations, particularly from Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems into Meditech.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare finance and accounting processes.
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data from multiple sources, including spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with client finance and IT stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior consulting experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience supporting Meditech implementations, upgrades, or optimizations.
  • Familiarity with additional Meditech financial modules and integrations.
