Job Description

Job description:

  • Migrate existing client warehouse(ODS & DM) from SQL server to AWS Aurora. This involves modifying the ETLs on Informatica Cloud and reconfiguring them to point to AWS Aurora DB. Remap existing BI layer to interact with the updated DB
  • Require to remap reporting layer (Microstrategy and SQL reports) to point from SQL server to AWS Aurora
  • Work with users and business SMEs to define technical specifications to develop reporting requirements, and technical documentation
  • Promote and apply reporting best practices
  • Develop/Modify Mappings in Microstrategy and SQL reportings
  • Work with business analysts and process owners on the development of test cases and scripts
  • Post deployment support and defect resolutions
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork and problem solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in Business Intelligence
  • 5+ years of MicroStrategy Platform experience, including: Advanced Analytics Reports, Visual Insight Dashboards and Report Services Document creation and experience in administration too
  • Fluent in SQL and able to read and write complex queries, views and stored procedures
  • Experience in core Business Intelligence/ Data warehousing technology: RDBMS, Web, Client/ Server, OLAP, etc
  • Experience with big data environments (Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, etc.)
  • Experience working with capturing reporting on Current and Historical Data
  • Experience working with Transformations, Complex reports, Report Services Documents (Dashboards), Rolling Metrics, Nested Metrics, Relationship Filters, VLDB Properties (multi-pass sql, hints, etc)
  • 3+ years in SQL reporting services
