The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services Engineering (GSE) organization is seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner to support the Tankers Programs (KC-46 and KC-135) in Jacksonville, FL. This position is in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) manufacturing environment. In the role you will plan and lead department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing installation plans, Bill of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration in a repair/modification environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Shift: This position supports first shift with the potential to work other shifts as necessary to support future business needs

- Ability to work under general supervision with basic instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new lines of work or special assignments

- Comfortable and knowledgeable working in a ship side support, rapid reaction force role to support the aircraft modification or repair
- Ability to work in an emergent environment to mitigate production stops through fabrication
- Ability to manage independent work activities with minimal supervision within a team environment
