Role Summary

As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will independently design, develop, and deliver software features and services that meet business requirements. This role involves owning components end to end, contributing to system design discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. You will actively integrate AI/ML components into applications, leverage AI-augmented development workflows, and drive improvements in code quality, testing, and deployment practices.

About the Team

The team focuses on delivering high-quality software solutions through collaborative engineering efforts. Members engage in full lifecycle development, including design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of services and APIs. Emphasizing software quality testing and enhancement, the team integrates modern practices such as continuous integration and automated testing. They work closely with product and business partners to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. The group values technical excellence, innovation, and effective communication to meet business objectives while supporting ongoing learning and process improvements in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain software components, APIs, microservices, and user interfaces with clean, efficient, and reliable code.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements.

  • Participate in project discovery and translate technical requirements into detailed designs, functional logic, and implementation plans.

  • Drive full software development lifecycle activities including continuous integration, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.

  • Integrate AI/ML components such as recommendation engines, NLP services, computer vision modules, or LLM-powered features into applications.

  • Leverage AI-augmented development tools and practices to enhance productivity, code quality, and testing coverage.

  • Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs, event-driven architectures, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).

  • Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for cloud deployments.

  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in software development with production delivery.

  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, Rust, Kotlin, Dart, or C++.

  • Strong experience with modern frameworks and platforms such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, FastAPI, Django, or Flutter.

  • Experience with full software development lifecycle including continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design patterns.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control workflows (Git, GitHub/GitLab).

  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) into production applications.

  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink), and message queues.

  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.

  • Knowledge of database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.

  • Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or WebSocket-based communication patterns.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and GitOps practices.

  • Understanding of security best practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC, and secure coding standards.
