The role involves managing software development tasks within the Air team, focusing on delivering features, maintaining legacy systems, and working with databases and API design.
We are looking for a Mid-level Golang Developer to join the Air team.
The Air team is responsible for the development of the airline ticket sales service, fully owning this domain within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of tasks and effectively manage personal time, ensuring strong communication within a distributed team, including efficient asynchronous communication
- Focus on outcomes and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering features to production
- Apply a product-oriented mindset to software development
- Work effectively with legacy systems and be able to understand and maintain existing codebases
RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of commercial Golang development experience
- Experience with modern versions of Go and idiomatic Go practices, including the use of up-to-date linters
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL), including large-scale databases (multiple TB), and understanding SQL query optimization techniques
- Practical experience with message queues and brokers, including development of producers and consumers
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Participation in code reviews
- Strong understanding of API design principles and hands-on experience integrating with external systems
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher, with confident conversational skills
- Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex CLI, Codex App)
- Experience with Swagger and OpenAPI
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including understanding of service deployment workflows
- Experience building observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing)
