Role Summary

Role: Mobile Application Developer

Location: Fremont, CA.


Summary:

Pebble is hiring an Application Developer with focus on Android development and experience in iOS. This role is responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications that interface with real-time systems, such as vehicle control systems, IoT devices. The ideal candidate has experience with real-time data processing, API integration, and hardware interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications that interact with real-time systems.
  • Support iOS development as needed for cross-platform compatibility.
  • Ensure seamless communication between mobile app vehicle systems
  • Optimize app performance, UI/UX, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with embedded engineers and cloud engineers to ensure system compatibility.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for app reliability.
  • Implement best practices for security, data integrity, and app lifecycle management.
  • Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and frameworks.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Android development
  • Experience in iOS development (Swift, Objective-C).
  • Strong understanding of real-time systems, IoT, or embedded system interfaces.
  • Experience with mobile UI/UX for device control applications.
  • Ability to integrate with cloud services, APIs, and streaming data sources.
  • Knowledge of automotive, robotics, or IoT applications is a plus.
  • Strong debugging skills and familiarity with real-time communication protocols.
