About the role

We’re seeking an exceptional React Native engineer with a track record of making apps reactive and beautiful. You will be working closely with product and design to ideate quickly and define product excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute perspective and craft delightful, interactive, and intuitive user experiences that redefine how people interact with trading platforms on mobile

  • Drive technical and product decisions, collaborating with designers and engineers to create lightning-fast, highly performant trading systems

Qualifications

  • Expert in React Native, with deep knowledge of React, Expo, Tamagui, and Bun

  • Proficient in performance optimization, particularly around real-time performance, reliability, and safety

  • Experience in designing and shipping intuitive, pixel-perfect mobile UIs that innovate on how users interact with apps

  • Capable of owning features end-to-end, from architecture to app store deployment, with a focus on reliability and scalability

  • Built resilient client-side data flows using WebSocket or any streaming APIs

What we prefer

  • Deep expertise in the broader React and React Native ecosystem and its related development tools

  • Experience with Python or other backend technologies for collaborating across our platforms

  • Deep expertise in mobile development, particularly examples you can share of previous work; we seek individuals who can thoroughly explain their work, both concisely and clearly

  • Pride themselves on delivering results swiftly, often faster than their peers; we ship extremely fast here, and with that we must all maintain velocity

  • An eye for product sense, with an ability to empathize with users, anticipate what they actually need, and translate that into features that deliver actual value

Compensation and benefits

$160,000 – $320,000 USD

Base salary is not only one of our total compensation package at Liquid, which also includes early equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, wellness benefits, transportation to-and-from office, and fully compensated lunch and dinner.
